Sign the petition: Urge Congress to make childcare more affordable

Affordable childcare is critical for parents of young children.

Without it, they might not be able to work, might not be able to make ends meet, might not be able to put food on the table or afford their bills.

This is the reality faced by too many parents. With the cost of childcare increasing and with options limited, too many parents are left scrambling to either find care for their young children – or putting their family's financial security and future at risk.

This is unacceptable, and it's time for Congress to take action. Let’s demand that Congress make the wealthy and big corporations pay their fair share so that we can:

  • Expand access to affordable preschool and pre-kindergarten programs.
  • Make childcare affordable for all working families.
  • Expand paid family leave.
  • Make sure childcare workers are compensated fairly.
